HIGH UINTAS, UTAH
After a nice backpack into the Naturalist Basin, my friend and I felt like the best views would be from the ridge above the basin. We underestimated the distance and steepness of the slope that led up to the ridge…and we underestimated the temperature drop as well. The views, however, were awesome. The sunrise the next morning was awesome and the Uintas lit up as the blue waters of the lakes deepened. I can’t overstate the sharpness of the Canon 24 mm TS Mark II lens. I now focus using the LiveView function at 5x or 10x magnification and then I am sure that it is sharp as sharp can be.
